May 1st was Free Comic Book Day.
It's a day where the major publshers put out a couple of free comics and distribute them in comic stores across the USA.
Jaden and I decided to head down to Olympic Comics http://www.olympiccardsandcomics.com/
First we stopped at 7-11 and had an Iron Man slurpee.
Then on to see Gabby at the shop.
What a mad-house!
The store is crammed with comic and fantasy stuff of all kinds (crammed in a good way).
We couldn't even get near the free stuff!
We had a change to meet Darth Vader andThe Green Lantern too.
And we had a long discussion about Lockjaw's powers...what, you don't know who Lockjaw is?!?
Well, for starters, he's a dog...the Inhuman's dog and he can teleport!
What could be cooler than a teleporting dog?!

Same old shop, in it's 4th location since we've lived here.

Jadan can't stop talking about the comic book store and your adventures. The slurpy cup is up on my hutch! Glad you can pass on your traditions with your grandkids.....Ella wants an Archie one :-)
