It's almost baby time here in racoon land.
The moms tend to spend a lot of time hanging around the house eating and napping after the litter is born.
This mom spent the afternoon and most of the evening out back. We know the kits are out there in the nearby woods.
The moms will bring the kits up to the house soon and teach them the ropes (begging 101).
This year we have dogs in the yards on either side but we still have 'coons, ducks, doves, pigeons and squirrels.

Correct.
There are 3-5 kits per litter and they don't even open their eyes until they're a month old.
